What do you get when you host a ladies evening of pure indulgence? Extremely happy ladies :), that’s exactly what Rubina Hussain founder of Jack Harvey did ?a couple of weeks ago and Chinskitchen was delighted to be part of this wonderful evening where she launched her range of exquisite jewellery and raised money for Breast cancer.

The Jack Harvey London Story

(written by the Founder)

“Jack Harvey London was founded in memory of my sister Salima. She is the beautiful inspiration behind my brand.A few years ago, Salima was diagnosed with a particularly aggressive form of terminal breast cancer while pregnant and she spent a lot of time having treatment in hospital. I used to buy her lots of diffusers as she was allergic to flowers with her hay fever. I would buy her different ones, some cheap some expensive, but her main issue was that she couldn?t smell them properly, and the ones she could smell didn?t last very long.

It was then an Idea was born in my head that became Jack Harvey London.

It took me a year to produce these amazing candles, diffusers and room sprays and with support from loving family, friends, and all our thousands of happy customers, we have done extremely well. Through your purchases we have been able to donate to some wonderful charities including Bliss, Child bereavement, smile with shiv which is a children?s muscular dystrophy charity and of course breast cancer research.”

It was an evening of fun, laughter, meeting new people, socialising and shopping, all whilst raising money for a good cause. Chinskitchen provided canape style desserts for the guests to indulge in whilst they shopped. Our Award winning nankhatai, to our signature “Rose and cardamom Cake” and decadent spiced chocolate orange brownies were all on the menu that evening, the feedback received was fantastic and encouraging. Both Rubina and I ( Chintal Kakaya) are extremely keen to raise money for charity, supporting various organisations from sales. Thank you to all who attended that evening and made it a success for both Jack Harvey and Chinskitchen.

Last but not least, I was over the moon when I won the competition and check it out, I won a reed diffuser, Xpression nails and a beautiful necklace. Thanks Jack Harvey

Jack Harvey Review of Reed diffuser:

Being a baker churning out 100’s off bakes every week, I highly recommend these scents, despite all those cooking and baking smells, these scents are powerful but in a nice way. When I have visitors popping in they will ask me what is that scent? They are priced at ?45.00 but definitely worth the price, it is great quality and long lasting. The packaging is beautiful, whether it’s for yourself or a gift you won’t regret it.

Please note the views are my own and not influenced by anyone

Ending this post with a sweet delight from Chinskitchen

"Eating these nankhatai took us straight back to our childhood. Amazing!"

?I ordered the cardamom, rose and pistachio cake. It was delicious. So light and tasted just like gulabjaman. It was so fresh and presented and decorated beautifully. Highly recommend.?
